A Little History
Cressy Commercial Real Estate has a rich history spanning over 78 years. Founded by George Cressy and Ed Everett Jr., the company began as Cressy & Everett Residential, combining their expertise to establish a forward-thinking enterprise.
In 1969, the founders’ sons, Don Cressy and Ed Everett III, joined the business, ushering in a new era of expansion. Notably, the development of the University Park Mall contributed to what is now Indiana’s third-largest retail corridor. The establishment of the Cressy Development Division led to the annexation of 700 acres for the creation of Edison Lakes, a mixed-use development.
In 1987, the commercial division became an independent entity, eventually rebranding as Cressy Commercial Real Estate. The company undertook various projects, including retail centers like Princess City Plaza and Main Street Marketplace. In 2020, the company expanded to Indianapolis, further solidifying its presence in the commercial real estate sector.
